Each year in Alaska’s McNeil River State Game Sanctuary between June and August many brown bears appear to fish for salmon. People find this fascinating so some are granted access to the park to observe the wild animals.
One of these lucky people was Drew Hamilton a tech worker at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and he even captured a precious moment with one of the bears. In the video the bear calmly approached him, sat down next to the man filming in his camping chair and sleepily looked around. After a couple of minutes of friendly silence and yawning the bear stood up and hastily walked away.
What an encounter!
